Implant placement is done under local anaesthesia and most patients describe it as easier than a tooth extraction. Mild swelling for 2–3 days, managed with standard painkillers.
A well-placed implant in healthy bone is designed to last 20+ years. The crown on top may need replacement at 10–15 years like any restoration.
Often yes, but we may need a bone graft if the ridge has resorbed. The CBCT scan tells us exactly. We will not place an implant where the bone cannot support it.
Most Indian medical insurance excludes implants but covers extractions, X-rays and grafting. We do the paperwork and tell you upfront which line items will be reimbursed.
Full-arch All-on-4 starts at ₹2.5 lakh per arch including the prosthesis. Final number depends on bone condition and prosthesis material — quoted in writing at consult.
